Well, here's a recipe for some delicious, really healthy, garlic bread that's fun to make.

Method

  1. Peel the three cloves of garlic, either with a garlic peeler or by placing them in a glass jar with
    the lid on and shaking vigorously.

  2. Put the oil in a frying pan along with one garlic, chopped. Sauté at a low heat.

  3. In a saucepan, boil the milk and the two remaining cloves of garlic for 10 minutes at a medium heat and
    blend.

  4. Mix all the ingredients (set aside a little milk for the end of kneading), except for the
    yeast. Knead the dough.

  5. Add the yeast along with a little milk and continue kneading until the dough is
    homogeneous.

  6. Covered the dough in cling film and leave to rest for around 20 minutes.

  7. Divide into the desired weight (250 g) and shape. Again, leave to rest for 10 minutes.

  8. Stretch the dough with your fingers and a little oil until 1 cm thick.

  9. Ferment at a temperature of 25°C or until the dough doubles in size.

  10. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  11. FINISHING THE DISH:
    Bake in the oven at 200°C for 15 minutes for small pieces and 20 minutes fro large pieces.
    Once golden and cooked in the middle, remove from the oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes.
    After, cut and serve alone or accompany with a drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt.
     

CHEF'S TIPS:
- For this recipe, any variety of garlic can be used. It will depend on if you are looking for a
more or less intense flavour. We've used purple garlic to give it a stronger flavour.

- Choose the milk you prefer: skimmed, semi-skimmed or whole, and with or without lactose. Whatever you choose, the bread should be delicious. :)
